Indian markets are expected to open on a flat note following to mixed muted trend seen in global markets, according to Mehta Equities.

'We expect volatility may heighten market movement ahead of expiry of monthly derivatives contracts on Thursday. Tracking the momentum, the index may retest its crucial psychological level of 8,350 in trade today,' it added.
