The markets may see a green start on the back positive Asian cues, according to SMC Global. NTPC, Dr. Reddy's, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Exide Ind., HCC, Petronet LNG, Oriental Bank, IPCA Lab., IDFC, Colgate Palmolive, Bank of Baroda, Dena Bank, Gabriel, GHCL and Essel Propack to announce their results today, it said.
As per provisional figures, foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/ Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) sold shares worth net Rs 1.86 billion on July 29, 2015. Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 6.42 billion on that day.
